Contracting Charges

Definition:  One time charge due at time of contracting, for costs incurred by Benchland Water District associated with incorporating the service into the Benchland Water District Distribution system and business operations prior to February 12, 2010. All new installations and new construction will be charged an impact fee (see "Impact Fees" on this website for further information).

Contracting Charge Rates: 

(For all connections installed prior to February 12, 2010)
Inspection, Identification, Engineering, etc.  $200.00
Contracting, Education Accounting and Customer Service  $100.00

Total: $300.00

Contracting charges after February 12, 2010
Impact fee ($4,813.00.00 per Acre) To be calculated on an individual basis, according to acreage recorded on County Records. 

Costs of Re-instatement of Cancelled Contract:  $350.00

Installation of connection under special circumstances:     $ Job Order Costs + Individual Impact fee costs.  ($4,813.00 per acre) :
